Weekly Wrap Up #2

Currently Reading

I am really enjoying this book, I have been busy this weekend so I haven’t read it much this weekend. Therefore I intend to get through more of it next week.

Books I Read Last Week

I gave this 4/5 stars.

I gave this 5/5 stars.

I didn’t give this any stars – as I didn’t enjoy it at all.

I gave this 5/5 stars.

I gave this 2/5 stars.

I literally stared this book today, it made me chuckle a few times but it wasn’t as good and funny as I thought it would be! Therefore I don’t really know how many stars I would give it. The audiobook is read by Ellen herself. I absolutely love Ellen Degeneres and her show, so I was hoping to really enjoy this book. I think it wasn’t as funny, as it’s an older book; apparently her latest book is better. It was – however a good book to listen to while I wrote and sorted out my blog posts – as I didn’t need to focus on it completely as it wasn’t like a fiction book that is detailed and complicated.

Life Update

So this week in the UK, on Thursday and Friday, we were hit with a major falling of snow – which for a massive lover of snow like me was absolutely incredible. It was so thick, and was great to make snowmen in. However – if you read my weekly Wrap Up last week you will know that in November of last year I had an accident, which I am still recovering from at the moment, therefore I couldn’t go outside and play in the snow and make snowmen; I a so sad and upset about this as we haven’t had snow like this for years and years. And then to top that all off the college that I go to – which is connected to the school I used to go to – had two snow days one after each other for both the days it snowed. This is so incredibly frustrating, as I went to that school for 5 years and in that 5 years we had one snow day, and now the one time I was already not going to not be at college because I am going back part time since my accident and the one time I can’t go out in the snow – the college say we are having not one but TWO SNOW DAYS!!!! You may laugh at me, or say “Well you will have snow again another time”; but if you live in the UK you know how little we get snow and when we do it is barely enough to make a snow ball.

However on other news I have decided on several different uses for some of my notebooks that I own; this week. Some of the ideas I had already thought of or I already do – but some are new ideas. These ideas I found by either watching YouTube clips and putting different ideas and uses together to fit into one notebook, or they are ideas I had already heard and thought about.

These are the idea for the uses of my notebooks:

  • In one notebook I am going to write letters to my future self
  • In one I am going to do creative writing
  • In another I am going to continue my diary/ journal, and as an add thing I am going to do in them is ‘How do I fix it letters’. So if I have something on my mind or a problem I am going to write a letter to the problem. Now I know the problem can’t exactly write back but it will help get it off my chest; or so I hope. Ariel Bissatt explains it better in this video.
  • I am continue my travel journal and scrapbook.
  • I am going to do a self discovery book where I answer questions everyday of the year.
  • In another notebook I am going to write all my story ideas and research in it.
  • I am also going to do a bucket list in the bucket list book a friend bought me for Christmas.
  • Another notebook will be used to write research and ideas about different careers that I might be interested in doing in the future
  • And last but not least I am going to use another notebook for my blog – this notebook was bought for me for my birthday and Christmas present by my best best friend; Chloe @ Book Dragons!! Please go and check out her blog by clicking this link.

I haven’t gone into too much detail about these notebooks, as I think I will do a blog post on this at some point.

I hope you have liked reading this post. What types of weather do you like? Do you like the snow – let me know in the comments? If you want to comment any other questions you have please do so in the comments, and I will answer them for you. Please like this post if you have enjoyed reading it, and if you want I would appreciate it if you went and followed my blog and checked out my other posts too.

  1. Aaah I have so many more notebooks it’s actually unreal how many I have now! Like genuienly I could probably open a mini shop xD And thanks for the mention ily

Just a side note – don’t use your heading text for big chunks of text because it doesn’t read as clearly you want to stick to the paragraph text and maybe change the colour, make it bold or italic. It’s what I do πŸ™‚ xoxox
