Weekly Wrap Up #4

Currently Reading

I am currently reading Words in Deep Blue by Cath Crowley. I started reading this book today, and I am currently really enjoying it; it reminds me of a YA version of The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin. I am reading this on my kindle – so then I can enlarge the print so it’s really really really big meaning I can then read it; as my sight is starting to come back finally slowly but surely.

And The Iron Trial (Magisterium #1) by Cassandra Clare and Holly Black – which I am listening to on audiobook.

Books I Read Last Week

I gave this 3/5 stars.

I gave this 5/5 stars. This book is incredible – but absolutely broke my heart into smithereens and left me with a whole bunch of mixed emotions. I am going to a book review on my blog either this week or next week; so stay tuned for that.

I gave this 5/5 stars.

Life Update

So last week I didn’t post as much as I have been recently on my blog, and this down to the fact that my mum was away so I had a week where I spent time solely with my dad. Therefore I decided early in the week that I wouldn’t put much pressure on myself to post lots of blog posts – as I wanted to send quality time with my dad and not have that time taken up by me writing posts for my blog. So I am sorry if you were sad or unsure as to why I was hadn’t posted much last week. I think I said this in another post – but I find family and spending time with them a very important thing to do; as I love my family to bits and am grateful for everything that they have done for me throughout my life.

However, over the next couple of weeks my blog posts might be a bit irregular in terms of how frequent I post, as I am starting to get my sight back more and more; which is great. You may think “surely that means it is easier for you to write posts for your blog”, and for this you are correct it will be easier – but as I haven’t been able to read a physical copy of a book since November and my Easter holidays are creeping closer and closer (they are in two weeks time) and I want to be able to spend some time where I get to read like nobody’s business; as I have missed reading so so so much. Also I want to create my blogging journal, and plan out when I intend to post, what I intend to post and all sorts of other bits and bobs too. There may be no effect to how much I post – but I just wanted to let you know the reason in case it does make a difference.

Here in the UK – we have had a bit more snow, which is great as I love snow, but I woke up yesterday morning and the majority of it has melted so I am very sad. It is so wired though, as I went to bed with the world being a winter wonderland and then woke up to a world free of snow. This a really short life update – but I haven’t really done anything to blog about as I spent a lot of time doing lovely things with my Dad last week; like going out for lunch and getting cake from an amazing place deli restaurant. Oh it was so delicious!!!!!

I hope you have liked reading this post. What types of weather do you like? Do you like the snow – let me know in the comments? More importantly though, what type of cake do you like? If you want to comment any other questions you have please do so in the comments, and I will answer them for you. Please like this post if you have enjoyed reading it, and if you want I would appreciate it if you went and followed my blog and checked out my other posts too.
