My Four Seasons 24 Hour Readathon 2018 Wrap Up

So, you may or may not know but last week was the Four Seasons 24 Hour Readathon. I was really excited to participate in this; it was first time participating in a 24 hour readathon and I ended up absolutely loving it.

I made a TBR for the readathon that stated what book I wanted to read for the challenge I had decided to undertake – this is the link HERE.

In terms of the challenge I read:

For the challenge of ‘read a book with the word “Spring” in it’ – I used Chasing Spring by R.S. Grey. This was 306 pages long.

Other books I read out side of the challenges:

I stared F in retakes by Richard Benson, and read 79 pages of it.

And I finished the last bit of History is all You Left Me by Adam Silvera, which meant I read 80 pages of it.

I then stared This is a Love Story by Jessica Thompson, and read 30 pages of it.

Total pages read in the week = 495

Hours listened to in the week = 0

So overall I am pleased with what I read for my first ever 24 hour readathon; especially since I haven’t fully got my sight back yet. I would like to try and get to 500 pages in the next 24 hour long readathon I do – however I am not putting any pressure on myself to do that as I want to enjoy the books I read and go at my own pace, and not rush through them just to hit a certain target. I don’t count the number of pages I read till after the readathon has finished.

On the other hand – if you did the the readathon how did you do? If you didn’t take part then did you want to but weren’t able for some reason, or do you just not like readathons? Let me know in the comments please.

If you enjoyed this post please like or comment, and then if you want to you could check out my other posts on my blog. See you soon when I let you know which wonderful world I have decided to jump into.
